About Me

Hello, I’m Stephanie

I’m an Integrative Counsellor passionate about supporting children, young people, young adults, adults and parents to navigate life’s challenges in a safe, compassionate, and non-judgemental space.

My approach is grounded in understanding that every person’s experience is unique. I work collaboratively and adapt my approach to meet individual needs, helping clients feel heard, understood, and empowered.

I believe counselling should feel human, welcoming and paced around you — a place where you can pause, reflect and begin to make sense of what you are experiencing.

My Background

Experience that informs compassionate care

My previous work in education has given me a deep understanding of child development, emotional wellbeing, families and the different ways people experience the world.

20

years in primary education

Supporting children and families and developing a strong understanding of emotional wellbeing, development and individual needs.

3

years as a SEMH Advisor

Supporting children aged 5–18 with social, emotional and mental health needs, emotional regulation and resilience.

✦

Trauma-informed & neurodiversity-aware

My professional experience has included supporting children and young people with a wide range of experiences, identities and support needs, including across the spectrum of neurodiversity.

I bring this understanding into counselling with curiosity, compassion and respect for each person’s individual strengths, needs and way of communicating.

My Approach

Therapy shaped around the individual

As an Integrative Counsellor, I believe there is no one-size-fits-all approach to therapy. I draw from different therapeutic approaches and adapt sessions to meet the needs, age and preferences of each client.
